Doing your own thing

What I would love to do is help Artists. I have a feeling that I may be able to do it, because it is something personal. I am helping myself by helping other Artists and since it’s selfish I am really invested in it.

I dream of making Comics writing and drawing and the art magazine I founded with my friends into my main job. With my friends who are kind enough to help me run our online art magazine www.bkkunzine.com, I am sure we’ll get there it’s not far.

We are growing this art magazine into a platform that helps artists. I know “help” is too vague but let give one example of how we do that. We function as a collective, so we organize art events to promote each other. More on our art magazine later but please go check out what we do on our website bkkunzine.com and consider subscribing to get the free digital copy every 1st of the month in your inbox.

The book of reminders #2

This would also be part of my book “REMINDERS”. Whenever you are going through tough times or good times, be conscious of what they say in buddhism:

Reminder#2: Good or Bad, this too shall pass.

That doesn’t mean just ignore everything. If you feel a certain way there must be a reason for it.

That reason might be scary, the outcome could be scary, but a difficult conversation even for 5 minutes can prevent your mind from being occupied by it. Nowadays most of our difficulties are emotional, psychological.

I am throwing this out there as if it’s the easiest thing to do, but, one lifetime won’t be enough to accomplish the following. Everything you experience is through the lens of your mind.

REMINDER #2: Your mind is the most important, take care of it.

My weird French poems 1

Here is a habit I developed for no reason other than to avoid having to stare at my phone when I am taking the BTS sky train in Bangkok. I write little French poems in a pocket size pad. I would like to share them with you and hopefully get the fun I was having painting words like brush strokes on white paper. You should try it too.
